Curare Art Space

Meaning "to care for," CURARE gives artists a space to explore the deeply personal in a dynamic online platform. CURARE's exhibitions are activated through research and collaboration. As an art space that focuses on the stories of artists, writers, performers, and creators through their art, we engage with art as life, and make space for human stories.

An online art space dedicated for exhibition of art projects by artists and creators for art production

An online art space dedicated for curators and researchers to explore the online space for curatorial experiments and audience development

Upon approval of a project concept, the Artist will be given an online platform to present a project-in-development or completed art project. CURARE will then work with the artist to develop his or her output in an online exhibition by collaborating regarding curation and exhibitionary formats, which may include communication, exhibition design, and conceptualization to help the Artist explore this online space. In completion and making the exhibition live, both CURARE and the Artist will hold supplementary activities during the duration of the online exhibit, such as artist talks (online podcast or actual meet-and-greet), conversations, or other public engagement programs.
